Facilities' Fundraiser for Amplified Connections
A nonprofit fundraiser supporting
North East Medical ServicesFacilities' fundraising to purchase 2-way radios to ensure adequate real-time communication coverage
$12,700

$10,000 goal
During the month of May, North East Medical Services (NEMS) is participating in Give In May, a national campaign to support organizations serving the Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) community during AANHPI Heritage Month. Funds raised will directly support NEMS various programs and projects.
The Facilities Department is raising funds to support the Amplified Connections project. As NEMS continues to expand clinic locations and staffing, we need additional two-way radios to maintain reliable communication coverage across sites and teams. The total cost of the project is expected to be $35,000, but our fundraising goal is at least $10,000. Fundraising will support the following priorities:
Transportation Team Communication Support
Funding will support radios for the Transportation Team to improve coordination between drivers, on-site staff, and security team during patient pick-ups and drop-offs. Enhanced communication will help staff better prepare for patient arrivals, provide mobility assistance, and improve traffic and parking coordination to ensure safer, smoother transportation experiences for patients.
Emergency Communications & Response Support
Funding will provide radios across NEMS sites to strengthen communication between facilities, security, and medical teams during emergencies. Improved access to instant communication will help staff respond more quickly to patient injuries or urgent situations such as power outages, enhancing safety and ensuring timely care coordination across departments.
I invite you to join us in this important cause. Your generosity will not only make a difference today but will leave a lasting impact on generations to come.
Thank you for considering supporting our campaign. Your support means everything to us and to those we serve.
With much gratitude,
Molly Wong
