Dao's Give in May Fundraiser

As a proud board member of AACHI and an advocate through my company’s Asian ERG, I’m committed to supporting underserved Asian communities in Austin. 

The Austin Asian Community Health Initiative (AACHI) provides free, culturally and linguistically tailored health education, advocacy, and navigation services—ensuring access to care for all.

 I often wish we had an organization like this when I was growing up, or for the Asian families who migrated to my small hometown. The kind of information and support AACHI provides would’ve made a huge difference. Austin is so diverse, and this nonprofit fills a crucial gap by helping our communities navigate complex health systems.

• Each year, AACHI:
      •    Serves 300–400 Asian immigrants & families
      •    Helps 95%+ of clients gain or keep health coverage (vs. 79.3% of TX adults)
      •    Schedules 1,000+ medical appointments & attends hundreds to advocate
•  This #GiveInMay, support impactful programs like:
      •    Bilingual Community Health Workers
      •    Annual health fairs for refugee families
      •    Mental health directory by language & ethnicity
• Community outreach & cultural events
