The Austin Asian Community Health Initiative (AACHI) collaborates with local community partners to improve public health and well-being. We carry out our mission by providing free, language-specific education, advocacy, & healthcare navigation services for diverse communities.
Since 2016, AACHI has been one of the only organizations in Central Texas to provide no-cost, culturally & linguistically-appropriate support services to marginalized Asian community members.

Our Community Health Navigation Program (CHN) employs bilingual Community Health Workers (CHW) to facilitate access to and improve the quality of medical and social services for marginalized Asian and Asian-American communities.
Helping clients gain & maintain health coverage, make & attend appointments, and apply for vital programs & services.
Our Annual Community Health Fair serves folks with limited English proficiency (LEP) & refugee communities.
Online Mental Health Directory to find therapists & psychiatrists & other Asian service providers.
translates & distributes pertinent health information through over 270,000 touch points in responds to winter storms, infectious diseases, & other critical circumstances
helps secure transportation to 100+ individuals
facilitates the completion of hundreds of applications for health insurance, resulting in over 95% of our clients gaining or maintaining health coverage
organizes 20+ community engagement & education events
advocates for health equity & underserved Asian Americans whenever possible
