Help Youth RISE Through Khmer Performing Arts

This Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, we invite you to help us raise $10,000 to fully fund 20 student scholarships in Cambodian classical and folk dance and music.

Each $500 scholarship covers the real cost for one youth to participate in a full semester of training with Angkor Dance Troupe. While families pay a nominal $60 fee, the actual cost includes instruction from master artists, access to traditional costumes and instruments during rehearsals and performances, and opportunities to perform in the community.

While the majority of our students are Cambodian American, our programs are open to youth of all backgrounds who wish to learn, preserve, celebrate and share Khmer culture through the performing arts.

These scholarships ensure that cost is never a barrier to embracing culture, building discipline, and growing into cultural ambassadors, educators, and performers.

To date, we’ve already raised $3,325 toward this goal through early supporters on Network for Good—help us close the gap!
