Time to RISE: Support Khmer Youth Scholarships
$0 Raised
Angkor Dance Troupe is a nonprofit organization based in Lowell, Massachusetts—home to the second-largest Cambodian American population in the United States. Founded in 1986 by Cambodian refugees and genocide survivors, our mission is to connect communities through the preservation, education, and innovation of Cambodian performing arts.
Rooted in the traditions of Khmer classical and folk dance and music, our programs inspire and empower young people to embrace their cultural heritage, build discipline and confidence, and grow into community leaders and cultural ambassadors. Led by master artists and cultural bearers, we offer accessible classes, public performances, and cultural exchange opportunities that celebrate resilience and creativity.
Our goal is to cultivate the next generation of performers, educators, and advocates—practicing, creating, and sharing Khmer performing arts while enriching the cultural fabric of American society.
As we honor Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, Angkor Dance Troupe proudly uplifts the voices, stories, and traditions of Cambodian Americans—bridging generations and shaping a more inclusive and vibrant cultural landscape in the U.S.
