Hailey’s Fundraiser for AACHI: Health Is Heritage

I’m fundraising for the Austin Asian Community Health Initiative (AACHI) this May because I believe health should be a given—not a privilege tied to your language, income, or immigration status.

This year, our Give In May campaign theme is Health is Heritage. That resonates deeply with me, because for many in our community, preserving heritage isn’t just about culture or tradition—it’s about survival. When someone receives care that makes sense to them, in a space where they feel safe and seen, that’s how we protect our communities. That’s how we pass something better on.

At AACHI, we work with families who are navigating complicated health systems that weren’t built with them in mind. We connect them to care, information, and support.
