Growing up, I rarely saw leadership that reflected my lived experience as an Asian American. I saw resilience in my family, strength in my community, and wisdom in our cultural stories—but rarely were those recognized as leadership traits. When I came to LEAP, it was like stepping into a space that not only saw those qualities but centered them.
As Chief Programs Officer, I have the privilege of designing and leading programs that affirm the brilliance of API leaders across sectors. Every workshop, every cohort, every coaching session is an opportunity to help someone reclaim their voice, connect their identity to their impact, and build power rooted in community. I’m proud to work alongside a team that doesn’t just talk about equity—we embody it in how we lead, how we listen, and how we build.
LEAP’s legacy is one of transformation—not just of individuals, but of systems. And for me, this work is deeply personal. It’s about ensuring the next generation of API leaders doesn’t have to question whether they belong at the table—they’ll know they’re here to redesign it.
