The Long Beach Invest in Youth Campaign, led by KGA and the Long Beach Invest in Youth Coalition made history! Together we organized for systemic change and won a Children and Youth Fund and developed a comprehensive Youth and Emerging Adults Strategic Plan which then led to the formation of our city's first Office of Youth Development!
Following back-to-back victories, our goals this year is to provide oversight during implementation phase. We believe that young people and communities involved in bringing forth these critical resources should continue to be engaged and lead the roll-out process!
Often times, foundations don’t support implementation phase so grassroots fundraising is necessary to sustain our work ahead! Join us in fundraising to help us reach our goal!
