The Chinese-American Planning Council (CPC) is the nation's largest Asian American social services organization. Founded in 1965, CPC aims to promote the social and economic empowerment of Chinese American, immigrant, and low-income communities of New York City.
Asian Pacific American Heritage Month is where we celebrate and pay tribute to the stories, achievements and the lives of the many generations of Asian American and Pacific Islanders, much like the communities CPC serves.
Due to the lasting impacts from the pandemic and the rise in anti-Asian hate and racism, many lives have been affected worldwide and it is no different for CPC community members and staff.
