#GiveInMay - Association of Chinese Americans Inc.

The Association of Chinese Americans, Inc. (ACA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1972. It is the founding chapter of the Organization of Chinese Americans, now known as OCA-Asian Pacific American Advocates, which currently has over 50 chapters and affiliates across the United States. In its 49 years of existence, ACA has strived to promote the general welfare of Chinese Americans and the Asian Pacific American community by supporting youth education, enhancing the lives of older adults and adults with disabilities, and reducing health disparities.

Through our four service centers that operate in the counties of Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb, ACA plays a leading role in enriching the lives of Asian Pacific Americans in the Metro Detroit region. The organization is one of several entities that serve the Chinese and Asian Pacific American communities, providing year-round programs that include social services, educational classes, preventive health care, and cultural events. 

During this time of uncertainty, there is hope by coming together and overcoming as over the past year, the entire world has been coming together to stand up, help out, give back, and heal.

During the month of May, ACA is participating in #GiveInMay, a national campaign to support organizations serving the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community during Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. Funds raised will support the development of various  services  and programming for the community.
