Donors

Any individual may donate. Donations made through Give In May to nonprofit organizations are 100% tax-deductible and irrevocable. Donations will not be refunded. Contributions may be made via credit card, debit card, ACH, Apple Pay or PayPal. Checks are not accepted for this online giving event.

Nonprofits

All nonprofits who meet the following criteria are eligible to participate in Give In May:

• IRS registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3) 
• 51% of those served are Asian American and/or Pacific Islander 
• Minimum of two years in operation

Only organizations that register with Give In May will be eligible to receive donations. Please note that private non-operating foundations are not eligible to participate. 

#GiveInMay Awards

Give In May Awards of $5,000, $2,500, and $1,000 will be distributed to nonprofits for two award tiers: those who raise the most funds and those who attract the highest number of unique donors.

Sprint Week Awards of $500 will be distributed to nonprofits for two award tiers: those who raise the most funds and those who attract the highest number of unique donors between Sunday, May 18 (12:00 AM PT) to Saturday, May 24 (11:59 PM PT). View leaderboard standings here.
