South Asian stories have been told for centuries. In homes, across continents, between generations. They carry memory, identity, and the full complexity of what it means to be South Asian. For 23 years, Tasveer has been the stage where those stories reach the world.

What began as a small film screening in Seattle in 2002 is now the world's only Oscar-qualifying South Asian film festival. And it has a permanent home. Tasveer Film Center opened in Columbia City, Seattle in February 2026 bringing world cinema to one of Seattle's most culturally vibrant neighbourhoods year-round.

• The Tasveer Film Fund - grants that turn South Asian scripts into films the world gets to see. Your support funds the next cohort of SA filmmakers, giving them the resources to complete their stories and bring them to the stage they deserve.

• The Tasveer Film Market - the only platform in North America connecting South Asian filmmakers directly to Netflix, Amazon, WME, CAA, and Blumhouse.

• Tasveer Film Center - daily screenings, community events, and a neighbourhood cinema in Columbia City that keeps world cinema accessible and alive, year-round, for everyone in Seattle.
