Asian Law Alliance is the only legal services provider with programs that assist, educate, and organize Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in Santa Clara County. Based in San Jose, our mission is to advance justice, dignity, and equality for all.

Over 46 laters, ALA's work benefits over 1.24 million residents in Santa Clara County alone. ALA empowers people in poverty including vulnerable, low-income AAPIs through free direct legal assistance, Know Your Rights education, and community organizing, addressing issues in immigration, family law, domestic violence, housing, public benefits, civil rights, and anti-Asian racism/hate incidents. 

ALA has staff and volunteers who speak English, Vietnamese, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Tagalog, Korean, Urdu, and more. 24 employees and 100+ volunteers work at ALA.

Your support will help ensure AAPIs, low-income members of the communities, and individuals with limited-English can continue to gain equal access the legal system, community education, and advocacy, empowering them to develop self-sufficiency, self-reliance and a better quality of life.
