Built in 1959, the San Fernando Valley Japanese American Community Center is home to over a 1,000 members that enjoy time together learning about Japanese and Japanese American culture.  Our volunteer based Community Center provides the local community with activities and events that showcase Japanese and Japanese American Arts, Culture, History and Language.  Our members participate in a wide array of programs including, Cooking, Japanese Dance, Taiko, Koto, Judo, Table Tennis, Basketball, Line Dancing, Hula, Pickleball, Volleyball, Health & Wellness. The SFVJACC or "CC" also provides outreach programs for Seniors that are homebound through our Senior Meal Delivery program which provides not only a meal but a chance for a conversation and a smile.
