POPULATIONS SERVED: Samoan ~ Tongan ~ Native Hawaiian ~ Pacific Islander Samoan Community Development Center (SCDC) was founded in San Francisco in 1991 as a non-profit organization (501.c.3). We promote the Samoan and Pacific Islander communities through education, economic self-sufficiency, and the preservation of customs and traditions. 

In solidarity, we:

• Provide holistic care at every phase of life through grassroots programming
• Support students from Kindergarten into higher education 
• Increase access to essential services and resources
• Educate and inform the broader community about Pacific Islanders' contributions to society.
