Saahas for Cause

Saahas For Cause, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit based out of Los Angeles.  Our Mission is to Educate, Empower and Enable the South Asian Immigrant Community to improve their quality of life.  We provide wellness and education programs for older adults, women, and youth from the South Asian immigrant community to help them thrive in their adopted country.   

SAAHAS is courage and it is courage of every immigrant who comes to America with their aspirations and dreams of improved life with comfort, happiness, and satisfaction. We recognize the bold step that an immigrant has taken and pressure that they have for their survival and success.
SAAHAS for cause aspires to be the support system for South Asian immigrant community through their journey in each phase of their life. May they be Youth, young adults, or older adults.

Our services are delivered through four chapters:

• Older adult wellness - Wellness groups (e.g. Mauj Masti Sehat), Individual therapy, Language Empowerment, Technology Classes
• Women Wellness - Serve domestic violence/sexual assault victims e.g. Counselling, Case Management, Mental Health therapies, Referrals 
• Youth Empowerment - Social Justice, Community Education, Internships, Tech Classes, Public Health, Research & Innovation
• Community Outreach & Health – Education through Radio/Podcast/YouTube programs, Public Service Announcements, Webinars, Food drives, COVID-19 relief services
