Established in 1987, OCA San Mateo is a chapter of the National OCA APA Advocates. OCA National was founded in 1973 as the Organization of Chinese Americans with headquarters in Washington DC. In 2013 it was rebranded as OCA APA Advocates and is dedicated to advancing the social, political, and economic well-being of all AANHPIs. OCA San Mateo places high priority in youth development programs, cultural enrichment programs, networking, and voter education. Our signature programs include our High School Speak and Lead with Pride Program, Scholarship Program, and Youth Internship Program. See our programs page for additional details and photos.
