For the last 23 years, Hope Community Services has offered youth in the Vietnamese community one of the best, high quality education programs. Hope Summer School has consistently delivered students a fun and engaging learning experience. Not only does it help students improve academically, but the program also encourages cultural awareness, social skills development, and appreciation of the arts.

The Hope Summer School Experience

Hope Summer School is an eight-week program that offers a comprehensive educational experience tailored for students from kindergarten through 8th grade. Rooted in our commitment to academic success and holistic development, the Hope Summer School is designed to nurture young minds and hearts.

What Sets Us Apart

At Hope Summer School, we believe in the power of education to transform lives. That's why our program goes beyond traditional academics. Here's what makes us unique:

  1. Cultural Integration: We pride ourselves on integrating culture and heritage lessons into our curriculum, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of diverse backgrounds.
  2. Comprehensive Curriculum: Our certified and licensed teachers develop curriculum aligned with California state standards, ensuring a robust educational experience for every student.
  3. Electives and Enrichment: In addition to core subjects, students have the opportunity to explore a variety of electives, nurturing their interests and talents.
  4. Mental Health and Wellness: We prioritize the well-being of our students, offering mental health and wellness education to support their emotional growth and resilience.

Students who have attended our program often come back every year and express how much they love spending their summers experiencing our program.

Why Your Support Matters

Unfortunately, not all students have access to quality education due to a variety of factors (e.g. financial barriers, lack of local funding, etc). Although we try to keep costs low, as a tuition funded program, Hope Community Services lacks the capacity to offer financial assistance for all students in need. Our hope is that all students, no matter their socioeconomic status, will be able to receive a quality education experience. With your help we can achieve that!

Not only would a donation help with education access in our community, but your contribution to our fundraising campaign will directly impact the lives of youth seeking to get an enriching education experience. By supporting us, you're investing in the future generation, empowering them with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed academically, socially, and culturally.
