Since 1994, Fresno Interdenominational Refugee Ministries (FIRM) has been meeting the needs of refugee community members in Fresno. We do this in many different ways, through Literacy, Wellness, Community Building and COVID-19 Response programs. We provide wrap-around services to all ages from young children to elders and are always pursuing new ways to meet the diverse needs of the people groups we serve.  Our services span from after-school programs, to advocacy, to mental health programs, to community gardens and much, much more! Many of FIRM's staff came to the US as refugees themselves and are now a part of helping other refugees build new lives here. All of our services are provided in the language people feel most comfortable speaking. FIRM works with over 10,000 people from the refugee communities in the Central Valley each year!

Since 2022, FIRM has been an approved Resettlement Agency through our national affiliate, Ethiopian Community Development Council (ECDC). We are excited to work with all of you to welcome refugees to Fresno and the great Central Valley.
