Asian Pacific American Leadership Foundation

A nonprofit organization

APALF was founded in 2004 as a non-partisan, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to engage the AAPI community in active civic participation by creating, supporting, building and strengthening the local community infrastructure to help prepare and train qualified AAPI leaders for public service. We have four strategic pillars and goals:

  1. Encourage: AAPIs to be active and become leaders in their local communities, and beyond.
  2. Equip: AAPI leaders with tools and skills to better serve their constituencies.
  3. Connect: AAPI leaders from around the country including past and current elected and appointed officials.
  4. Serve: The needs of our national AAPI community.
