Asian American Institute for Research & Engagement

AAIRE is the only nonprofit on Long Island dedicated to addressing the needs of the pan-Asian community by tackling the underrepresentation and lack of awareness surrounding Asian American issues. Through rigorous research, data collection, and strategic community outreach, we work to uplift and unite the diverse Asian American population across the region.

With a growing database of over 25,000 Asian Americans on Long Island, we engage regularly to understand community needs and advocate for effective, culturally responsive solutions.

Our focus areas include combating anti-Asian discrimination, improving language access, providing direct support to community members, and offering free mental health counseling with licensed professionals. AAIRE is also deeply committed to youth empowerment. We offer meaningful opportunities for young people to engage with their heritage and community through internship programs leadership, workshops, and civic engagement initiatives.
