Asian and Pacific Islander American Vote (APIAVote) is the nation’s leading nonpartisan nonprofit dedicated to engaging, educating, and empowering Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities to strengthen and sustain a culture of civic engagement.

We envision a world that is inclusive, fair,  and collaborative and where Asian Americans and Pacific Islander communities are self-determined, empowered, and engaged.  Our goals are to increase AAPI civic participation, broadly defined as community involvement, increase partnerships by working together with stakeholders in the community, and ultimately become the preeminent organization for AAPI electoral and civic engagement.

APIAVote partners with 80 Asian American and Pacific Islander serving organizations across 29 states to empower our communities to partake in the civic process, everywhere from California to Georgia to Tennessee. AAPI populations are growing by double digits in 49 states and Washington, D.C., and that is reflected in our growing power. APIAVote is committed to ensuring the momentum we’ve spent years to build is felt in AAPI communities in every corner of the United States.

APIAVote depends on support of individuals like you to ensure that AAPIs participate fully in the democratic process. Your contribution will direct aid our efforts which include, but are not limited to, the following:

National Field Program

APIAVote’s National Field program empowers grassroots organizations to become dynamic, sustainable and effective organizers. We collaborate and invest in local organizations large and small, to engage with AAPI voters directly and effectively through the trusted messengers of their communities.

Youth Programming

With Gen Z making up nearly 60% of US-born Asian Americans, APIAVote is laser-focused on engaging this vital voting demographic. APIAVote’s Youth Program recruits, trains and supports young AAPIs to effectively mobilize and empower their peers in order to drive higher voter turnout among their demographic.

Strategic Communications

APIAVote’s Strategic Communications program aims to shift the narrative surrounding AAPIs and raise awareness on their growing impact on society. We are also an information hub for AAPI voters, especially those in underserved communities, to get educated on voting, providing translated materials and inclusive content that empowers them to engage in our democratic process.

Policy and Advocacy

APIAVote’s Policy and Advocacy program is dedicated to advocating for more AAPI-inclusive research, addressing the critical issues facing our communities, and being a conduit between local, state and federal actors to ensure that AAPI communities are included in policy and legislation at all levels of government. Through surveys and data analysis, we have our finger on the pulse of how our communities are growing and what issues are impacting them the most.

Please donate today.  You can increase the electoral impact of AAPIs through civic engagement, strengthen the capacity and resources available to our partners and grantees, and allow us to ensure AAPI voices are heard.
