$20,000 Goal

For over 55 years, Community Youth Center of San Francisco (CYC) has been a trusted resource and haven for youth and families across San Francisco. Founded to serve Chinese immigrant youth in Chinatown, CYC has grown into a citywide organization that serves over 8,000 young people annually from all backgrounds—particularly those from low-income, immigrant, refugee, and underserved communities. Today, our mission is to encourage a diverse population of high-need young people to explore their full potential through academic, career, family, and community life.

Since 1970, we’ve delivered culturally responsive, youth-centered programs that support young people in navigating challenges, discovering their strengths, and reaching their full potential. We walk alongside them every step of the way—meeting them where they are and helping them build brighter futures. Each year, CYC serves thousands of youth across San Francisco, many from immigrant, low-income, and historically underserved communities.

Your generosity fuels our work across three core program areas:

  • Health & Wellness: Supporting emotional well-being with counseling, mental health services, and family support.

  • Enrichment and Advancement: Helping youth succeed in school and beyond through tutoring, afterschool programs, and leadership development.

  • Community Engagement: Preparing youth for meaningful careers and civic life through job training, internships, and service.

When you give to CYC, you invest in brighter futures, stronger families, and a more equitable San Francisco.
