This Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month, I am participating in the #GiveInMay campaign to raise funds for Prism Foundation's work in empowering the queer and trans community! 🏳️🌈 🏳️⚧️
As a queer desi immigrant, I have been deeply passionate about creating safe spaces that allow desi LGBTQ+ individuals thrive, especially in today’s political times. As a Prism board member, I have been able to do just that. Since Prism’s founding, we’ve proudly awarded over $500,000 in grants and scholarships — supporting 100+ students in achieving their educational dreams and empowering 120 organizations build stronger, more inclusive communities.
And here’s what makes Prism truly special: we are entirely volunteer-run. Every dollar you give goes directly toward uplifting our community—powered by passion, not overhead.
