Hi,
I am a geriatrician and was introduced to J-sei when my clinic patients came in with their amazing case managers who were helping them navigate the medical system and support them throughout their journey.
I was very close to my grandmother who is Nisei Japanese American from Hawaii. She inspired me to go into caring for older adults and supporting J-sei by joining the board.
J-sei also has exciting and fun community events such as the Family Festival, Crab Feed and Flavors of Spring that bring together older adults but also bridge the generations. So if you are not in a place to donate, think about checking out the community events at https://j-sei.org/ or volunteer.
